Removing Text from an Image with Movavi Photo Editor
Do you have an image that has some type of text on it which you’d like to remove – without affecting its appearance? Normally the text that you may need to remove from images could be date stamps, captions, or some other type of titles.
Needless to say erasing part of an image is easy, but removing text without leaving behind any traces or affecting the rest of the image is far more difficult. With the right tools it is definitely possible however, which is where Movavi Photo Editor can help.
Due to the specialized tools in Movavi Photo Editor removing text is an easy and almost effortless task. First however you should add the photo that you want to edit, by launching the software then clicking on the ‘Browse for Images’ button in the center of the working area.
Next you will want to open the tab with the tools that you need – which is conveniently labeled ‘Object Removal’ in the upper part of Movavi Photo Editor’s interface. In the sidebar that appears you should select the ‘Brush’ tool and use it to paint over the text that you want to remove as precisely as you can.
If you have any difficulty highlighting the text using the ‘Brush’, you could try the ‘Magic Wand’ instead. In any case once you’re satisfied that the text is selected, click on the ‘Start Erasing’ button so that Movavi Photo Editor removes it from the image.
At this point you may notice that there are some traces that remain that could mar the image. To cover them up, select the ‘Stamp’ tool and use it to copy a similar part of the image and stamp it over the area in question. By doing so you should be able to ensure that there are no imperfections remaining after you remove text from image using Movavi Photo Editor.
While you could save your image immediately, you should try out some of the other features in Movavi Photo Editor before you do. In particular you may want to enhance its quality or fix any other issues that are present. Alternatively you could even use its features to apply artistic filters and effects, transform the frame and orientation, add creative captions, touch up portraits, or remove and replace the background.
Honestly you should feel free to experiment with these features and try them out to see how they can help you to improve your image even further. If and when you’re ready to save it, all you need to do is click on the ‘Save’ button in the lower right part of the interface and select the format that you want to use.
Keep in mind that the steps outlined above can be used not only to remove text, but any other unwanted elements that may be in your images. Suffice to say you should be able to use Movavi Photo Editor to directly improve the composition of your images – and much more than that if you try out its other features too.
