If you would like to become more focused and get a clarity of thought when you need it, maybe you need to switch between different tasks often, you might benefit from meditation. You don’t have to become a yogi and a spiritual person; simply take a break from your busy thoughts every now and then. You can set an intention every day and imagine how good it feels having completed everything on your to-do list.
Break Down Your Goals
When setting goals, most people give up before they could succeed. It is because they see the end of the line being too far away. If you break down your tasks and your goals to manageable chunks and phases, you will have a better chance of staying focused and managing the next stage successfully, so you can move on to the next part of the project knowing that you have built the foundation.
Break Up Your Day

Sitting in front of the computer all day is not fun for anyone. This is why you need to implement some productivity hacks. Stand up and stretch every couple of hours, or schedule a home yoga session in the middle of the day, so you can increase the blood flow and improve your sluggish metabolism. If you are able to break up your day and schedule regular breaks, it will be easier to get through sessions.
Reward Yourself
One of the things self employed people often forget about is rewarding themselves for working hard. No matter what floats your boat; a walk down the woods or a few minutes spent on Slotathon, make sure that you have some reward time to keep you going. If you schedule your snack and coffee breaks as well, you are more likely to stick to the schedule and work harder.
Create a Default Diary
You might not have heard about a default diary, but it is one of the greatest productivity tools out there. You can break up your day, find the most productive times of the day, and have a plan as soon as you wake up. The best thing about a default diary is, however, that you can move tasks and activities around whenever your priorities change or you have to deal with an emergency.
If you want to make the most out of your time and maximize your productivity, it is important that you take time off to relax and reward yourself. All work no fun is simply not going to help you get to where you want to be in your career or business.
You can set an intention every day and imagine how good it feels having completed everything on your to-do list.
