No, it isn't a scam; it is possible to make money from spending a bit of time using your smartphone apps. You're not going to make quite enough to quit your full-time job; however, there is an abundance of apps that pay you for viewing ads, playing games, taking surveys or shopping in certain stores. Most of these kind of apps use a points system where you can exchange them for goods, vouchers or cash. Because there are so many options, all with different methods for earning your points it's tricky to say just what you're getting for your efforts so have a look below at three of the apps to get you started and see what it's all about.
Fronto
If your someone who doesn't mind viewing a few adverts in return for some cash then Fronto could be what you're looking for. The app displays news and ads on your lock screen, and then you can earn points for viewing or interacting with each ad. You can sometimes get bonus points too. You can then exchange them for cash, coupons, or Amazon gift cards. The earnings aren't staggeringly high however the effort on your part is almost non-existent, and the points will continue to add up, your phone battery may suffer a little though, and if you have limited internet usage when out and about then, this is something to be mindful of. If you already struggle to stay in your limits and run out of charge, this one may not be ideal for you. You do only have to make $1 before a cash out though!
Swagbucks
This app has the advantage of providing you with several ways to earn points, well, Swagbucks as they're referred to. The best bit is that the majority of the things that make you money are probably things that you're already doing such as searching, shopping, playing games, taking surveys, watching videos and many more. The large variety does make Swagbucks a bit more complicated only due to the vast amount of different activities you can do to earn points. It has things such as apps for iPhone and Android, a browser toolbar and it's own website to pick from making it almost too easy to access ways of making money. Again you're not going to break the bank with this, but the points will soon add up primarily if you work it into your digital routine. One of the easiest ways with this app is to use it as your primary browser, and you won't even notice you are doing anything.
Lucktastic
If you get a thrill from paying the lotto or things such as the next Casino Bonus Deluxe, then you should give Lucktastic a try. It's an entirely free app that lets you play games such as games where you have to scratch-off lottery/lotto tickets, and your rewards can be pretty random though so bear this in mind, there is no guarantee that you will ever get anything worthwhile. You can expect to receive a few new tickets to scratch off, each of which will reward you between five to 10 points. Once you've earnt enough points, you can exchange your points in for cash or gift cards. Just like the lotto, if you're lucky you can win instant amounts too. Although you don't earn much unless you hit a big prize, if you think about the time it takes to scratch the cards each day, you have nothing to lose by doing this and just building it up.
These are just three different apps for you to try; there may be others that are better for you; some of you may already be using them. Do you have any other apps that you share in the comments section?
